The definition of mysticism can also be extended to the assertion of the existence of another reality beyond that which we experience; an out of this world reality that is beyond the ordinary and can only be understood in an unnatural way. Mysticism therefore exists as the direct hunt of a relationship with a spiritual reality. It continues to be seen as the acceptance of an extreme divinity through close contact with God. This essay explores the concept of mysticism from a philosophical point of view. In the worlds history, mysticism struggles to achieve scientific acceptance. This has been through the use of certain laws, conjectures or assumptions and certain principles of science. The main significance of this is to put it into literature so as to inform and educate a reader that what is being talked about is scientifically correct and suitable for application. Normally mysticism is taken as being empirical and mystical practices considered as being phenomenal. This has led to a perception that modern philosophy, biology, psychology and physics are very investigative, totally oral and unwritten. Despite this, history suggests that mystical and philosophical orientations were intimately related. Legends like Plato, Empedocles, Parmenides, and Pythagoras had instances in their experience that could be viewed as being mystical in some way (Otto, 1960). A lot of the prominent mystics that professed to Christianity were known philosophers. Baruch de Spinoza is a philosopher who lived in the seventeenth century. He is revered for making a lot of discoveries in his life. While explaining his findings in the field of science, he shunned the co nservative Jewish theory of God and miracles. He champions the notion that the universe is a true phenomenon with its vital asset being the natural power to protecting and safeguarding the existence of human beings. The probability of such an understanding in philosophy occurring is for the learners of this discipline to construe. The search for information in the area of physics was at times taken to be indivisible from the idea of knowing the mentality of God. An assertion made by Albert Einstein that God never plays dice was alluding to the deep findings of quantum physics. Internet plays a supervisory role in the Chinese politics. Internet has also helped to shape the social organizations by creating a virtual community for the internet users by expanding the old principles of association by the means of creating a new platform where everyone can participate in the discussion (Chen 2014). Internet has become a dynamic weapon for the civilians to protest against the oppressing society. This article provides an overview of the internet usage and the Civil Society in China. The articles stresses on the importance of internet in the development of a new social phenomenon in China. Discussion: In the recent years much focus has been made on the development of civil society in China. In fact, the struggle has been considered as an emerging form of the reform era (Sullivan 2014). The concept of civil society is to protect the rights of the citizens and also allow them to participate in the political sphere. Chinas drive towards economic reform and modernization of the state has given new opportunities to the Chinese citizens to participate in the reform movements (Yang 2014). The recent development in the internet has been found to open up better scope to the people of China to participate in the civil reform. Further development is bound to shape the technology and the participation of people in the civil society. Internet connectivity was lately made official in China in 1994, but the development pace has been found to be high. There were only 10, 000 internet users in China when internet was made official but the number of computers and internet connections were found to increase to 2.1 million by the end of 1998; and in 2002 it was 59.1 million (Teets 2014). Internet not only helped to connect people with each other, but it also helped in other spheres of regular activities as well. Internet was largely used for the academic purpose that made the use of internet relevant among the learners (Yang 2014). Thus, it can be said that internet has been penetrating in every sphere of life. Online publishing became so popular and the number of websites developed within a short time saw no bounds (Sullivan 2014). Newspapers and magazines were also started to be available online. This was the time when not only the Editors but the readers can also keep their view point on a particular issue. Conclusion: Understanding the change in the civil society of China with the advent internet is not simple. However, this platform has given better opportunities to the citizens to participate in the civil rights and has helped to strengthen the civil society. My Last Duchess, By Robert Browning, Is An Example Of A Dramatic Monol Essay ogue. A dramatic monologue is a kind of narrative poem in which one character speaks to one or more listeners whose replies are not given in the poem. The Duke is speaking to an envoy about his first wife who is apparently dead. From what he is telling him, one can conclude that he is arrogant, domineering, and very insecure about his relationship. The Duke of Ferrara was a very arrogant man. He did not seem to care about the happiness of his wife, only his own. He did not like the fact that she found happiness in other places beside himself, as if he should be the only life in her life. He could not understand how she could rank his nine thousand year old name with more simpler things such as her white mule that she rode on the terrace, an act of kindness from an officious fool and the drooping of the daylight in the west. His wife, no doubt, had no idea he felt that way but he could not discuss it with her, blaming it on the fact that he had no skill in speech. He let the problem persist until he no longer could stand it and finally gave commands that in one way or another caused her death. Another problem that he had was that he was too domineering. This is evident in the fact that he went to the extreme and killed his wife just because she did not conform to his image of a perfect wife. He wanted things to be his way regardless of how she felt. He now talks about his last duchess as if she were simply a thing painted in a picture to be admired. Other evidence that supports the idea of him being domineering is shown when he told his envoy that no one but him could touch the curtain that covered the picture. It is almost as if he has marked his territory and if anyone crosses the line they would be dealt with accordingly. Lastly, on the way down to meet his company he proudly points out his bronze sculpture of Neptune taming a sea horse. This is probably the embodiment of his whole mentality. He wanted to tame his wives into perfect women. Insecurity is something that we all feel at one point or another in our relationships. The Duke, however, was too insecure. He thought very little of his first wife, believing her to be too childish and naive. He probably felt that she did not love him very much because of the fact that she put his favor at her breast in the same category as other peoples gifts. He said that when she passed him she always smiled, but to him it was nothing because who passed without much the same smile? She was a woman of obvious beauty for in the poem it started that there was depth and passion in her earnest glance. People would ask the Duke the origin of the glance and he would irately reply that twas not her husbands presence only that called that spot of joy into her cheek. It would appear after mere complements by Fra Pandolf or other such things. Being insecure about her love for him probably drove him to his last action, which was to get rid of the stress all together. The Dukes personality, although somewhat sinister, captures the readers attention. He reveals his true inner self by explaining the vices of his wife. A feeling of pathos occurs when the reader finally understands that the wife died innocently through no fault of her own, ultimately leaving the Duke the villain of the story. My Last Duchess is a pure testimonial to the fact that the main character in a story does not have to be a good person in order for it to be an enjoyable piece of art.
